Today I’d like to share with you an excerpt (part 2) from the Piano Quartet in E Flat Major, by Robert Schumann. This is one of those pieces that when you hear it for the first time, it captures your heart and soul and you cannot stop listening to it. It is very simple and beautiful.

The painting reminds me of Pennsylvania country side. A dreary lone farm house but there is hope in the sky with a brighter future and a sweeping away of the clouds hanging over the farm house
A very tumultuous sky.
The color range is restrained like an old sepia landscape print. The colors seem to cross a range of tints and shades of the same base color, mostly red with a hint of blue. It suggests a way of looking at the world out of a specific sensibility. It makes you wonder about the story behind the painting. The story that passes through this scene would be interesting to know.
GORGEOUS music!
Thank you, Vitaliy. My waning connection to classical music (yes, technically Romantic) needed this. Really wonderful.
THANKS MUCH for bringing this up.
Here is a live performance to share also.
