This was my introduction to Rachmaninoff. I saw the movie The Seven Year Itch and was captivated by this piece, which is a recurring theme in the film. The first few bars sound like an animal crawling out of the speakers.
Recently developed a lot of appreciation for Russian composers Rachmaninoff and Shostakovitz
